About the course
Students will study GCSE double award, now named GCSE Science Trilogy or Separate Sciences, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The separate sciences option looks at each topic in greater detail and depth.

How it is assessed
There are six papers: two biology, two chemistry and two physics. Each of the papers will assess knowledge and understanding from distinct topic areas. For Science Trilogy each exam will be 1 hour 15 minutes, for separate science each exam will be 1 hour 45 minutes.
