About the course
Key Stage 4 Physical Education focuses on participation, engagement and provides students with a range of opportunities to be involved in Physical activity. At Key Stage 4 students have 1 double lesson of PE. Students can opt to adopt a number of responsibilities in a variety of sporting activities. Leadership and officiating forms the basis of teaching and learning at key stage 4 and relevant awards are offered to students through core lessons. All core PE lessons at KS4 are taught in single gender and mixed ability groups.
