GCSE Exam results 2023

After an incredibly disrupted Secondary Educational journey, the class of 2023 at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace are celebrating an excellent array of GCSE results. With more than 20% of grades coming above a grade 7 and 4% at a 9, many students have achieved against the odds!

We expect the national picture to show a dramatic decline in both the top grades and the overall pass rate as grade distributions return to 2019 levels. Despite this, Harris Crystal Palace has maintained very strong results in the core subjects of maths and English, as well as in many individual subjects such as Chemistry where more than half of students achieved a grade 7 or higher, Drama, Music & Religious Studies where 92% of students achieved a 4+ and Chinese which recorded its’ best results ever, including with 22% of students achieving a 7+.

There is also a huge range of individual success including the 21 students with all their grades being 7 or higher and the incredibly impressive Aurela, Taahseen and Oscar who all achieved a hugely impressive 8 grade 9s each!

We are proud of all our students and their achievements this year and look forward to supporting them on their next step of their educational journey.
