Year 7 Transition Programme 2026

Thursday 18th June 2026, 6pm – 7pm, Year 7 Parents' Information Evening

We invite Parents and Carers of our new Year 7 cohort to join us at the academy to meet with Mr Rigby, Principal, and Ms Gonzales, Assistant Principal and transition lead, who will share more details of what you can expect your child’s experience to be like at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace. You will also get the chance to meet our wider leadership team.

Friday 3rd July 2026, 9am – 1pm, Year 7 Induction Day

We are so excited to welcome you to our amazing academy. Please join us on Friday 3rd July to tour our academy, try out some secondary lessons, meet your Form Tutors, find out about your faculties, teachers and make new friends.

Wednesday 2nd September 2026, First Day of School

On your first day you will get the opportunity to spend time with those in your form, find out about your timetable, get to know the building and our expectations without other year groups around. We can also complete important admin on this day too like getting your photograph taken.
