WAS Accreditation
The Academy is delighted to announce that it has achieved the prestigious Well-Being in Schools Accreditation. The Academy was subject to a year long inspection, which culminated in a final review visit last week.
The inspector noted our thorough work in embedding a culture of where people care for each other and how well-being is the opposite to tokenistic. He pointed to how the Academy sets well-being as a priority, and particularly referenced our weekly ‘time to talk’ sessions, our student’s knowledge of mental health and well-being and the systems in place to support every student and member of staff.
