Year 10 Parents' Evening
Dear Parent
I should like to take this opportunity to welcome you, on behalf of all of the staff, to the Year 10 Parents' Evening. The staff regard this as one of the most important evenings of the year for your son's/daughter's education. It provides an opportunity for you to discuss ways in which you can continue to provide active support for his/her education at home. You will also be made aware of the areas in which your son/daughter needs to improve in order to reach his/her full potential in all of their GCSE subjects, including feedback form the recent Year 10 end of year assessments. Although it may feel far way there are approximately only 45 weeks until the final GCSE exams begin and past experience has proved that students that begin their preparations in Year 10 increase their chances of success.
If for any reason you do not see a member of staff during the evening, you can leave your name and contact details in reception to request a progress update via telephone or email during the coming week
During the evening please complete this parent survey. It should only take 3-5 minutes and helps us to gain an overview of parent views so that we can continue to work together for your son/daughter's education.
I hope you find tonight a positive experience, and please don't forget that you are welcome at any time to arrange appointments with your son's/daughter's tutor or subject staff, via the website link or contacting reception.
