Students Celebrate GCSE Success
Year 11 students at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace are celebrating today as the Academy has another year of success as we continue to place the Academy vision of ‘All Can Achieve’ at the heart of everything we do.
The students have worked incredibly hard and showed a dedication to their academic studies that, combined with the teaching expertise established at the Academy, has enabled this cohort to do so incredibly well.
These results are now the gateway to the next stage of their Academic journey, which for the vast majority will be enrolling into the Academy’s sixth form.

Among the highlights were 78 % of students achieving basics of 4+ in English and Maths and 59% achieved a 5 or above in both subjects.
The Academy is particularly pleased to see the attainment and progress of individual students who achieved outstanding results across a wide range of GCSE and BTEC qualifications. These included:
- Maxim who achieved four grade 9s, and five grade 8s.
- Tai-Anna who achieved four grade 9s, two grade 8s and three grade 7s.
- Kiruthikeshan who achieved four grade 9s, four grade 8s and one grade 7.
- Olive who achieved two grade 9s, six grade 8s and a Distinction*.
- Kyle who achieved three grade 9s, five grade 8s and one grade 7.
- Kamila who achieved two grade 9s, six grade 8s and one grade 6.

"Every student should take great pride in their achievements today," said Sam Rigby, Principal. "We are delighted to see them moving on to the next stage of their education and careers with confidence. We wish them every success for the future and look forward to hearing about their continued success."
