United Vibes Perform Anti-Bullying Concert

X-Factor finalists United Vibes visited us recently to perform an anti-bullying concert to students in Years 7-9. The band (pictured here with our students) were on the TV show in 2018 and visit schools to take their anti-bullying message to children - performing their latest single, which is about anti-bullying.

Everyone enjoyed the event and the band used the opportunity to talk to students about their school experiences, and ambitions.  They encouraged the students to aim to be the best that they can be, and to look out for each other.

After the performance there was a chance for questions and answers, as well as a performance by students and a chance to get autographs too!

What students said...

"United Vibes had some good songs. At first I thought it was cringey but then after a bit of time I realised they are actually really good."

"If they listened to the haters they would not be where are today."

"The concert was enjoyable because of the fun energy they presented."

Ms Cox said: "I thought the concert was excellent. The boys were great with our students and engaged so well with them. It felt really natural and it allowed our students to explore sensitive topics and be at ease whilst hearing about difficult but sadly common experiences. Having the performance intertwined with discussion made it a great session."
