Harris City Academy Crystal Palace A Levels 2019: A Fantastic Year

2019 has been another fantastic year for A Level results at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace.

With an overall pass rate of 98%, three quarters of papers received A*-C grades and nearly half of papers received an A*, A or B.

We have at least one student with a place at Oxford University. Many of our students won sought after places at other Russell Group universities including Warwick, Manchester, Queen Mary and Cardiff. We also have a student off to study automotive engineering at Loughborough, one of the very best universities for this prestigious course.

We also have students going to do some fantastic apprenticeships including at Bloomberg and Accenture.

Katherine Cumberbatch, Principal of the Academy, said:

“Today’s results are the culmination of seven years of hard work by our students. Many of our Year 13 surpassed their own expectations and I am incredibly proud of the wonderful range of university courses they are on their way to.

“As well as congratulating students on their hard work and dedication, I also want to wish them the very best for happy, successful and fulfilling adult lives. Well done to everybody involved, including staff and parents who supported our students every step of the way towards these results.”
