China Day 2:

Firstly,We went to the Yu Garden and we walked around and looked at the different buildings and statues that were in there. We were taught about Buddhism and the different signs of bad luck like stepping on a step. We took loads of photos and explored.

Next, We walked over to a Chinese marketplace where we were taught how to bargain. We were told that we can get items reduced from their original by talking to the seller and reducing it to a reasonable price. We were put into groups and we walked around bargaining and spending our Yuan.

After that, We went to have some lunch. We sat at a table where there was a wheel to spin the food over to ourselves when needed. We were given chicken strips, sweet and sour chicken, chicken stir fry, rice, noodles, sweet corn, chips and more.

We then went to climb the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. We looked at the view of the city from (pretty much) the top of the tower. We were given free time to take photos and look at the view. We went to a room with glass that we were allowed to walk on. When we stood on top of the glass we could clearly see the bottom of Shanghai. It was very terrifying but very fun.

We then went on a cruise on the river. We looked at the views from the river and relaxed on the boat. The boat was full of things to do like: look through a telescope, eat, talk and sit down. We then went to eat some dinner.

Lastly, We all came back to out hostel (The Phoenix) and we relaxed and went to sleep.
