Careers Programme
The careers programme at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace has started very positively this academic year with a range of interesting activities taking place and planned for the future months including Year 12 taster days to university and Year 10 and 12 planning for work experience, amongst other things. The Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance policy gives a clear overview of our strategy to prepare all of our students for their future career and lays out clearly what students are entitled to whilst at the Academy. These entitlement statements are also included in the students planners and the full policy is available on request from Ms Jones, the Careers Consultant.
We are starting to plan our Next Steps evening which takes place in March and introduces Year 11, 12 and 13 students to a wide range of universities and employers to help them with their careers research by talking to ‘real’ people. If you would be willing to represent an occupational area and host a stand or give a talk students I would love to hear from you.
