Cultural Insight - What have these 10 women done for their community in Yemen?
Rural areas in Yemen rely on fossil fuel, candles, kerosene oil or private diesel-powered energy grid to carry out their daily activities. Fuel is expensive and Yemen’s unreliable public electricity grid has left citizens with few options.
Now a group of female graduate engineers have broadened their opportunities, generated an income for themselves and created their own business with the help of United Nation Development Programme.
Learn how new forms of energy have transformed the lives of woman in rural areas where job opportunities are limited for women. Watch the film to find out more.

British Science Week - what's happening?
British Science Week is here! To mark the occasion there will be lots of opportunities to talk about STEM in your lessons. Special activities have been planned by the science team in Year 7-9 Science lessons. Enjoy!
There will be an activity each day. Each activity will also be posted on year group tiles on Teams, along with an interactive poll on Teams and Twitter so that students, staff, and families can join the conversation - please do check it out and cast your vote.
