Diverse Leaders Programme

This is a programme that nurtures talented teachers and leaders from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) groups, empowering them to achieve career progression.

The programme aims to aid BAME colleagues into having the confidence to apply for leadership roles and headship positions- reflecting the profile of the students that they teach in school. Our facilitators are well known authors, motivational speakers, leadership experts and head teachers such as Viv Grant and Diana Osagie.

The programme has a knock-on effect as it provides students with tangible role models who they can aspire to and also expand the number of potential staff that can be recruited into leadership.

The programme will consist of four sessions; which will include one to one coaching, opportunities to get practical application and interview feedback.

The programme will be an opportunity to explore the following themes:

  • Vision and values
  • Practical interview techniques
  • Wellbeing
  • Resilience
  • Career planning

This leadership opportunity will prepare and support you in making the leap to your next leadership role.
