Faculties

Upon joining Harris City Academy Crystal Palace every student joins a faculty. Faculties provide a sense of belonging to a smaller unit which overcomes the concerns some students have when moving to a large secondary school. These are Arts, Communications, Science & Mathematics, Technology and Post 16. There is a healthy rivalry amongst the faculties which increases student motivation and encourages students to work together. Throughout the Academy life students represent their Faculty in a wide variety of ways including sporting and other activities.
