Our prime aim is to enable all students to achieve their maximum potential and assist them in becoming responsible adults able to make a positive contribution to the society in which they live and work. The Academy expects and achieves high standards of work and behaviour from its students. The ethos is one of firm but fair discipline.

The Governors’ primary role is to support the Principal and staff; to work with the Executive team to agree the short and long term strategy for the Academy; to assist in ensuring they have the necessary resources and review the progress of the Academy towards achieving its aim with an emphasis on business, enterprise and technology.
