Academy Priorities

  1. Raising Examination Performance
    a. To develop independent learning in students with a view to maximising their performance
    b. Prepare the Academy to achieve an outstanding Ofsted report
  2. Curriculum Development and re-design - striving for a 21st Century
  3. Develop the information technology systems to enhance teaching and learning across the Academy
  4. Raising attainment through effective target-setting, monitoring, reporting and mentoring
  5. Developing community cohesion and the extended school on a local, national and global scale
  6. To develop provision of professional development for all staff and to develop the quality of teaching and learning all with a view to maximise the attainment of students
  7. To ensure the VLE is implemented as a tool that enhances and raises the quality of teaching and learning for all students
  8. To develop creativity, in an enterprise context, across the Academy
  9. Enhancing the quality of teaching and learning at Post-16 to further improve student attainment
  10. To develop the coherence, co-operation and collaboration of the Post-16 Federation
