Croydon Challenge day
Twelve of our Gifted and Talented students in Technology and Science participated in the annual Croydon Challenge day. They had a fantastic day building robots, vehicles and competing in other events against local schools. These students worked exceptionally well with each other to develop unique and creative strategies to tackle problems. They came out overall winners on the day and even brought home a trophy. A special mention goes to Louise Forsey and Lucas Henry as they were overall student winners of the day. Laura Gaskell - Mew and Jake Dunning won the vehicle challenge and Freya Hyde and Matthew Hacche won the robot challenge. They did themselves, and the academy, proud.
