Harris City Academy Crystal Palace breaks achievement records once again!

Students at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace have for the third year running achieved the Academy’s best ever GCSE results. An impressive 88.44% of the students achieved the most recognized measure of performance, 5+ A*-C grades including English and Maths. This compares to 82 % last year and 78% the year before. These results, added to the ‘perfect’ Ofsted inspection last year put the Academy firmly amongst the very best schools in the country.

All students performed extremely well achieving their expected grades and more. Twenty five students achieved 10 or more A* or A grades and over 60% of students gained 3 or more grades at A*/A. The Principal  of the academy Steve Kenning was delighted, “These results are great news as they give all our students a real life opportunity. Their success allows them to move on to the next level confidently. We are delighted that the hard work and dedication of our excellent teachers and students has once again resulted in such a high level of success.”

The GCSE results follow outstanding A level and AS results across the Harris Post 16 Federation with Crystal Palace students once again achieving 100% pass rate at A level.
