As centres of excellence for Teaching and Learning, and recognized as a high performing Federation of thirteen Academies, the Harris Federation is the ideal environment for entry into the teaching profession and for continued professional development with excellent progression opportunities.

Across the Federation we offer opportunities for staff to develop in both Secondary and Post 16 contexts and across a wide range of academic and vocational courses, delivered with state of the art technology and resources.

The Federation has a strong track record of investment into teacher training and we have expert mentors, coaches and trainers in each Academy.

In addition to strong links with ITT providers across the Federation, we provide contextualized programmes of study, tailored support and opportunities to work alongside lead practitioners, ASTs and Excellent Teachers.  All of whom have a direct and positive impact on the quality of teaching and learning across the Federation.
